ok here is some insight into how i approach doing any kind of art. Back when all i had were Dixon Ticonderoga 2B pencils to work with over a decade ago i used to draw.. a lot it was the passion of my life at the time. I never thought I had any real talent, only that i enjoyed doing it and doing it often. I would almost always draw girls. I happen to like girls a lot. Not in a skirt chasing way, but in the way that the attract my eye. its always been this way since i was in 2nd grade harboring my first crush on a girl named Olivia. I've always enjoyed the company of girls more. I have male friends but i have way more female friends. ok so I established that i like girls a lot. I was always drawing girls.. creating cool outfits and what not. In High school I design three prom dresses. I wish i had pictures of it. back then it was just enough to have designed them and having them made. So I had this pretty girlfriend my senior year I was so madly in love with her. I did that cheesy drawing a picture of her thing. Well she ended up in many of my art pieces. they were not all portraits of her I'd make dolphin ceramic pieces as well. each project she had something do with became my best work. Because she inspired me I pushed myself to do better and serve her inspiration justice.

flash forward to me and photography. not much has changed. I'm still getting inspiration from girls... LOL. Its all in my head ,but perceptually the more Feeling I have for the model the better the chances I'll bring out the best out of me and I'll be addicted to shooting with that person. this is not to say I'd do a bad job if my feelings were neutral, I just won't feel for any of those pics. this goes for friends I shoot too. The closer i am to the person the better I THINK the pics are.

ok my point? I put HEART into photos of people i'm attracted to. My personal feelings will impact the outcome of my product. I'll bill myself as an artist first before a professional. If have no emotion for the shoot its crap. I feel like i'n not articulating myself well. LOL perhaps this would be better explained in a youtube video. >:3
